Webmail Help

Webmail is the system Wave email customers can use to access their email online. In referencing this help page, it is important to note that your webmail page may look different than what is shown, depending on what version of the Webmail system you are on.

BROWSER COMPATIBILITY: Wave’s online email access, Webmail, requires a HTML5-compatible browser. Older browsers may need to be updated. For example, if you are using an older version of the Internet Explorer web browser (version 9 and earlier), you will need to update your browser to access your email account online.

From inside the Inbox, click on the “Compose” button at the top of the screen.

Please note that this is not a substitute for reporting spam or other email abuse. Those can be stopped by submitting an abuse form.

  1. Click on Preferences in the left sidebar menu.
  2. Click on Rules in the task bar.
  3. Click the plus symbol, +, to start a new rule.
  4. Click the Expert Mode button
  5. Type the name of the rule (this is for your reference).
  6. In the Applies To section, click the plus symbol, +, to add the condition that will trigger the rule.
  7. In this instance, change “Subject” to “From”.
  8. Type in the email address you want to block.
  9. In the Action section, click the plus symbol, +, to create the rule’s action.
  10. In this instance, change “Store in” to “Reject with”.
  11. The “Reject with” action sends a bounce-back error message to the sender, including whatever message you type in the “Parameter” box. You never receive the sender’s message.
  12. Click the Save Rule button when finished. This change will take effect immediately.

In an effort to prevent abuse of our email server, customers are required to connect to our email server using secure “travel” settings when checking their email from a non-Wave internet connection. This usually happens when customers are out of town, or using their cell phone to check email remotely. Simply adjust your email program to the settings below:
